一、獎學金概況

國際中文教師獎學金聚焦培養合格的海外中文教師。孔子學院、獨立設置的課堂，部分漢語考試考點，外國相關教育機構、高校中文師範專業/中文院系、國外有關中文教學行業組織、中國駐使（領）館等推薦機構可推薦優秀學生和在職中文教師到中國大學學習和進修國際中文教育及相關專業，推薦機構詳見http://cis.chinese.cn，申請者可以登錄 http://cis.chinese.cn進行申請。

二、申請條件

招生對象為非中國籍人士，對華友好，無違法犯罪記錄，遵守中國政府的法律、法規和學校的規章制度，身心健康，品學兼優，有志于從事中文教育、教學及相關工作，年齡為 16-35周歲（統一以 2023年 9月 1日計）。在職中文教師放寬至 45 周歲，本科獎學金申請者一般不超過 25 周歲。

2023 年 3 月1日-2023 年 5 月 15 日，申請者可登錄國際中文教師獎學金報名網站（cis.chinese.cn）申請國際中文教師獎學金。

申請流程：

1．登錄獎學金網站，查詢推薦機構；

2．在線提交申請材料，關注申請進程、審核意見與獎學金評審結果；

3．獎學金獲得者與我校确認辦理來華留學手續，

4．在線打印獲獎證書；

5．按我校錄取通知規定的時間入學報到。

五、申請截止日期（以北京時間為準）

1．2023年7月入學：學生申請截止日期為 4月15日

2．2023年9月入學：學生申請截止日期為 5 月15日

3．2023年12月入學：學生申請截止日期為9月15日

4．2024年3月入學：學生申請截止日期為11月15 日

中外語言交流合作中心委托專家組集中評審：根據 HSK、HSKK 考分和級别，兼顧國别等因素擇優資助，于入學前約3個月完成獎學金評審工作，公布評審結果。

六、關于在職中文教師和漢語橋獲獎者

1．在職中文教師

在職中文教師申請各類獎學金，可提供就職機構出具的在職證明和推薦信，免提交漢語水平考試（HSK）證書。

2．漢語橋獲獎者

在各類漢語橋比賽中獲得“國際中文教師獎學金證書”者，登錄國際中文教師獎學金網站，憑獎學金證書向我校提交申請材料。

七、資助内容及标準

國際中文教師獎學金資助内容包括：學費、住宿費、生活費（四周研修生除外）和綜合醫療保險費。

1．我校為學生提供校内宿舍，一般為雙人間。

2．生活費按月發放。本科生、一學年和一學期研修生标準為2500 元人民币/月；國際中文教育專業碩士生為3000元人民币/月。

3．綜合醫療保險費參照中國教育部來華留學有關規定執行，由我校統一購買。

八、申請材料

（一）與所有申請者有關的證明材料

1．護照照片頁掃描件。

2．HSK、HSKK 成績報告（有效期兩年）掃描件。

3．推薦機構負責人的推薦信。

4．《外國人體格檢查表》。此表格由中國衛生檢疫部門統一印制，須英文填寫。申請人應嚴格按照《外國人體格檢查表》中要求的項目進行檢查。缺項、未貼本人照片或照片上未蓋騎縫章、無醫師和醫院簽字蓋章的《外國人體格檢查表》無效。檢查結果有效期為6個月。

（二）與學曆生有關的證明材料

5．提供最高學曆證明（畢業預期證明）和在校學習成績單。

6．國際中文教育專業碩士須提供兩名副教授以上職稱導師的推薦信。提供畢業後拟任教機構工作協議者優先資助。

（三）在職中文教師須附上就職機構出具的在職證明和推薦信。

（四）未滿 18 周歲的申請者，須提交在華監護人署名的委托證明文件。

（五）申請者還須提供接收院校要求的其他證明材料。

Application Guide for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship of 

Shenyang Normal University in 2023

I. Overview of the Scholarship

The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) aims to facilitate Chinese language education in other countries. Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms, certain HSK test centers, Chinese language (education) departments of foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language instruction, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as “recommending institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and currently-employed Chinese language teachers for study of International Chinese Language Education or related majors at Chinese universities and colleges (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”). The recommended institutions can be found at http://cis.chinese.cn, and applicants can apply at http://cis.chinese.cn.

II. Application requirements

a) Non-Chinese citizens;

b) Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school;

c) In good physical and mental conditions, and with a good record of academic performance and conduct;

d) Aspiring to work in the Chinese language education and related fields;

e) Aged between16 and 35 (as of 1 September, 2023), with the special allowance for the age limit of 45 for applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers and that of 25 for undergraduate student applicants.

Online registration will be available from 1 March, 2023 to May 10 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship application website (cis.chinese.cn). Please log on to search for recommending institutions; upload application materials online; and track the application progress, comments and results. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out the scholarship certificate online, and register at our university on the designated date as per the letter of admission.

V. Application Deadlines (Beijing Time)

a) For programs commencing in July, applicants must complete their applications before 15 April.

b) For programs commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications before 15 May.

c) For programs commencing in December, applicants must complete their applications before 15 September.

d) For programs commencing in March 2024, applicants must complete their applications before 15 November, 2023.

Decisions will be made based on HSK and HSKK scores and levels, and in consideration of country distribution as well as other factors. The results will be published about three months before school starts.

VI. Policies Regarding Currently Employed Chinese Language Teachers and Chinese Bridge Award Recipients

a) In-Service Chinese language teachers:

In-service Chinese language teachers may be exempted from HSK/HSKK certificates if they provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.

b) Chinese Bridge Winners:

Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to our university directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

VII. Coverage and Criteria for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

The Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fees, accommodation fees, living allowance (four-week study students excluded) and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.

a) Our university provides students with the on-campus dormitories, usually for a double room.

b) Living allowance is granted by host institutions on a monthly basis. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-academic-year study students and one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person. For students of Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education, the monthly allowance is 3,000 CNY per person.

c) Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased by our university in accordance with relevant regulations of studying in China stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China.

VIII. Application Documents

A. For all applicants:

a) A scanned copy of passport photo page;

b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity);

c) A reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions;

d) Foreigner Physical Examination Form; The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months;

B. For degree scholarship program applicants:

e) A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript;

f) Applicants of the Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education are required to provide 2 reference letters from professors or associate professors. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide a work contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or a proof to the same effect.

C. Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment as well as a reference letter by the employer.

D. Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

E. Applicants shall also provide additional documents required by the host institutions.
